Live now across 9 Houston-area counties

Live dispatch monitoring

Fire department radio is monitored around the clock, and fires and water calls become incidents within minutes.

Matched to the property

Each incident is tied to a real parcel with county appraisal data, not just a street name.

Verified on scene

Field teams confirm damage in person before owner research is spent on a lead.

Instant alerts

Your team gets the lead by text message (SMS), WhatsApp or Telegram the moment it qualifies, with a link to the full story.

How it works

From the first radio call to a qualified lead

LossScout does the listening, locating and research so your team only works the losses worth working.

  1. 1

    Detect

Fire and emergency dispatch audio is transcribed and classified as it happens. Structure fires, smoke investigations, alarms and water damage calls become tracked incidents.

  2. 2

    Locate

Every call about the incident is used to pin down the exact address, then matched to the county appraisal parcel for that property.

  3. 3

    Qualify

Each lead is scored on how big the response is, how the fire is growing, and what kind of property it is. Scores keep updating as the incident unfolds.

  4. 4

    Act

Alerts go to your team, a rep claims the lead, and owner contact details are ready when the time is right to reach out.

FAQ

Common questions

I've been invited to LossScout. What do I do now?

Watch for an email from LossScout with the subject "You have been invited to LossScout," then click the link to create your account and choose how you'd like to get lead alerts. Watch the 3-minute getting started video to see every step.

Where does LossScout's data come from?

Incidents come from public fire and emergency dispatch radio. Property details come from county appraisal district records. Owner contact details are researched only after a lead has been verified.

Where is LossScout available?

Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Brazoria, Galveston, Waller, Liberty, Chambers and Austin counties in Texas. Austin, San Antonio and the DFW Metroplex are coming online soon. If you work somewhere else, tell us in the form below.

What kinds of incidents are covered?

Structure fires are the core of LossScout, along with smoke investigations and fire alarms that may point to a loss. LossScout also sends water damage alerts for calls like flooding inside a building and sprinkler water-flow alarms. Each incident is scored so the biggest losses stand out.

How do alerts reach my team?

By text message (SMS), WhatsApp or Telegram, straight to your team's phones as soon as a lead qualifies, with updates as the incident develops. Every alert links to the lead in the LossScout app.

Does LossScout work with my CRM?

Yes. You can send LossScout opportunities into HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or Close through n8n or Zapier. Restoration platforms like Xcelerate, DASH, Encircle, PSA, Restoration Manager, JobNimbus and ServiceTitan connect the same way, and any other system can receive them by webhook. Or run the whole job inside LossScout, with all of your project photos, notes, and files. See how to connect n8n or Zapier.

Do you screen phone numbers against Do Not Call lists?

Yes. Every owner phone number shows its national and state Do Not Call status, and known litigator numbers are flagged, so your team can make an informed decision before calling.
